indoors Arrival Story: My husband and I wanted to get a friend for our young Ragdoll cat. Search around and found a family that had two kittens they were adopting out. Went over to their house and my husband pick out Bay-ling. She is a Totie Point Persian/Siamese mix. Everyone in the family fell in love with the little cutie. What we didn't know though was that she was infected with ringworms. My husband had been exposed to ringworms when he was younger so he did not get reinfected too badly. However, I had never had them until Bay-Ling came into our lives. OMG, seven years later, and I can still remember the intense iching and scabing that I had. Bay-Ling shared her fungus infection with each member of the family. Each week, we were going to the vet's office to try a different treatment because we couldn't get rid of it. It was quite a site, going in to the vets office with Logan Ben, a 120 pound Old English Sheepdog, and two very vocal cats. We were finally able to rid ourselves of it when the animals got the ringworm shots, tropical medication and special baths. Bio: Ling, as we sometimes call her, loves to climb up on latters. The higher the perch, the happier she is. She absolutely loves her human daddy. Likes nothing better than to curl up with him and to cuddle.
At approximately 11:50AM Bay-Ling went on the journey to the Rainbow Bridge. She was always a tiny kitty but lately she had been nothing more than skin and bones. This last weekend she started having breathing problems so we immediately took her to the vet. An X-ray revealed that her chest cavity was filled with bloody fluid and since there was no treatment for her as the vet thought cancer had invaded her lungs, she was sent on her final journey with momma and daddy at her side. Lives Remaining: 9 of 9 Forums Motto: I'll aways be daddy's little girl.
Bay-Ling is a very timid, but sweet girl. She is the exact opposit of her big brother Simba Blue. She is the little princess who steals your heart. A very loving cat who likes to be petted. If you stop petting her before she is ready, she will nip you to let you know that she wants more. If that doesn't get your attention, she will next bite you. The little sweet kitty turns into a demanding diva for attention.
