Arrival Story:
I was donating my time at the local shelter. I spent most of my time comforting the animals who were in recovery (mostly from surgery). I had been looking for a special kitty and when I went to her cage to comfort her, she tried her best to get in my lap and be as affectionate as possible while still half sedated. She was the most affectionate kitty I had seen in a long time.

Bio:
Blair was orginally named after 'Blair Witch Project' because she had the orangest eyes you had ever seen. But now her name fits because she has special powers of the freaky kind. She has shredded curtains, thrown pens in the toaster, thrown exposed film in the garbage disposal, wrapped the handles of a bag around her own neck, got stuck 40 feet up in the tree for a day and half and her latest trick?.....knocking a bottle of decorative cooking oil with jalapenos off the top of the refrigerator on to the ceramic tile (cleaning up oil and glass from cabinets and an entire floor is NOT fun - especially at 1:30 am). And, don't ask me what all the white stuff is all over her head in the main picture, she came in from outside with the magic dust to boot. ~ UPDATE 2006: Since the inception of this little bitty summary on Blair, she has (among other things) managed to get herself stuck up in the tree two more times within 30 days of one another and both times for more than 2 days. Kitty kitty is no longer allowed outside without supervision!!! ~ UPDATE 2007: Her most recent obsessions are - (1.) Jumping on top of the bookshelf, cramming herself behind the TV to get in front of the Van Gough and just scratching it, and scratching it; this is preferred between 3am and 5am. (2.) Playing Slow Motion Leap Frog over your head, back and forth while you are sleeping; the slower the better so that she is sure to pull all of your hair and get optimal use of her 17 pounds on your head.
