Arrival Story:
When I was 9 years old I had just lost my previous Cat, Friday, so I was hurrying home from school to see if mom had gone to the SPCA to get me a new cat. My mom knew, from my first cat loss, that I would never get over it till a new kitty arrived to fill my thoughts. I ran home and mom greeted me and I asked her if she got me my kitty and she said no. then a little tiny tail popped up from behind my moms back and there was kitty!

Bio:
She is a very mothery adorable cat. Bring her bunnies, dogs, mor cats and she will adopt them all and love them. Here are some stories---- There was the time when she was an indoor/outdoor cat, she would hunt and leave little corpses of her victims for me, 5 or 6 each morning. One time, I opened the front door and Kitty bolted in with a bird in her mouth! "GROSS KITTY!" I yelled at her. She runs and puts it in her food bowl, proud as can be.... but it wasnt dead.... WE spent the next hour or so using a broom to get this freaked out bird out of our skylight and back outside. Once she jumped up onto the balcony ledge and grabbed an empty wooden planter, the planter and her fell down. The planter landed on her leg and broke it. She had a large red cast on her backleg and it started to fall off near the end of the healing process, she broke her leg again as the cast came partially off. Stupid vet, they hadnet put the cast on right.

Just before Christmas 2004, Kitty was diagnosed with Feline AIDS (FIV) when I took her into the the vet because she lost a bit of weight. Being a 15 year old cat, I thought it was just age finnally catching up to my lively senior Kitty. After that Vet visit she went downhill quite quickly and died January 15, 2005 a little before noon.
She had apparently had this Virus for a long time, born with it or we estimate about 12 years when she got out of the house and came home with a sizable wound on her head.
A vaccine was made avaliable about 4 years ago, unfortunatly that was too late for Kitty.

Not a day goes by that I dont cry about and think about my Kitty.
