Mommy Got A Second Opinion Today....

Today I went to see Dr. Griffin O'Connor. She diagnosed me with a heart murmur(3 out of 6). She recommended the same as Dr. Richter...an echo ultrasound to determine the severity of the murmur. So mommy is keeping my January 20th appointment. Wish me luck as I am a little nervous. Thank you for all your prayers for me. I really appreciate it.

I Need Lots Of Purrs....

Today I went to the vet for my yearly check up. While Dr Richter was doing her examination she found out that I have a heart murmur. Mommy is very worried. She has to take me back in three weeks when the ultra sound tech is in the office. Dr. Richter, Dr. Barrios and the ultra sound tech will check me out to determine how serious this condition may be. I need lots of purrs as I am only a year old. Please purr for this to turn out to be nothing serious. Oh and Happy New Year to all my Catster Buddies.

I Was Bad Again...

This morning I was a very bad girl. I climbed on mommy while she was laying down. She began to pet me and give me some attention. I then licked her face and then bit her. I am sorry mommy I didn't mean to hurt you. I was just playing, it was a love bite. Mommy is very mad at me right now. She put me down and told me very sternly told me no. I have to make her understand that I was just playing with her.

Happy Halloween Everycat!!!!!

Happy Meowlow's Eve...
Today is Halloween and also my 1st birthday. The day has finally arrived. I am finally one year old. I don't know exactly what all the fuss was over. I don't feel any different than yesterday. I am getting lots of attention from everyone. I got to eat special treats just for me.
I am having lots and lots of fun today. Thank you HQ for all of my treats and my five paws. Thanks to all who wished me a happy birthday. I appreciate it. I hope all my furriends have a happy and safe meowloween. I've got to go get more loving from my family.

It's my 1ST birthday on Friday....!!!!!!

Well it is almost here...my FIRST birthday. I am really excited to see what mommy has in store for me(As I am a spoiled brat). I have been getting lots of extra loving for everyone the past few days. I can't complain. I am thankful for all of the love that I get everyday. I had a wonderful kittenhood. Things have been furry exciting. I have a wonderful family who six months after adopting me, they adopted my two younger siblings. I joined a furry good family. I love my "Daddy"
Simba. He is an amazing cat. His size may be intimidating but he has a good heart. Nala...she has been ok. She can be a little moody sometimes. Misty is a very fun and loving cat. Then there are my two real siblings. Raven is still small for her age but has a lot of spunk. She is cute. Rayna is going to be quite a large cat. She looks just like my dad.(He is a big gray norwegian forest cat). Rayna is furry pretty. All in all....I am furry happy here.

Hello Furriends...

Mommy's daughter Sari has been doing the typing for me instead of mom the last week and a half because mommy has been suffering from migraines really bad. She was diagnosed with an arachnoid cyst in her head in 2006. She is due to have another MRI to determine if it has remained stabilized. Please Purr for her. Us kitties really love her.(Hello it's me Sari...please keep my mom in your prayers. Her headaches have been getting worse lately. Thank you so much. ) Well I hope that mommy gets better soon.

I Was A Bad Girl This Morning....

Mommy was very mad at me this morning. She was leaving this morning to bring her middle daughter up the street to catch the bus and her little daughter(who is four) let me out and she didn't tell mommy that I got out. Mommy was upset when she went back inside to get ready for work and I was not in the house. She had to stop what she was doing to ask the little one if she had let me out and the little one said yes. Mommy got very upset and then came outside to find me. After being outside for about 5 minutes, mommy walked to the front of the house and I was on the side of the drive way.

I didn't run from mommy this time because I knew that she was upset. Mommy told me once she was bringing me inside that I am not an outdoor cat. She doesn't like me outside. There is a fun river in the back yard and woods. There are lots of bunnies out back that I like to chase. Mommy said that there are other things out there that could hurt me like coyotes and foxes and even deer. There was a black bear sighting about 1 mile down the road so she gets very upset with me when I try to escape.

I cannot help it. It is fun to frolick in the grass and leaves in the wooded area in the back and side of the house. I went through the woods and down to the river about a month and a half ago and mommy was very angry. I was gone for almost two hours. The kids were crying and when I came back from playing, mommy was very angry with me. I was chasing a garden snake a few weeks ago. Mommy's neighbor's boyfriend laughs at mommy everytime I sneak out. He always tells her that I should have been named lightning because I am here one second and gone the next. Mommy doesn't think its amusing to have to chase me. Shhh don't tell me mommy but I think its funny too.

Updates

Well its been awhile since I've checked in. With the move...I've been so busy exploring and getting settled in. I was the only cat not scared about the new house. I explored the minute I was let out of the carrier. I have been here almost a month and I am loving the new place. I know all the ins and outs. Its been almost two months since I had my surgery and I am definitely back to normal. I do get Mommy annoyed as every time the door is opened I fly out. Mommy gets mad and tells me that I am an indoor cat. She is afraid that I might get hurt outside. We live in an area now that has quite a large cat population. It seems all of our neighbors have cats. I scared a big long hair maine coon off his porch this morning as I happened to sneak out when Mommy picked up a package from FedEx. It took Mommy fifteen minutes to get me back in the house. I'm sorry but I have a nice front yard and backyard that is very appealing to me. She doesn't understand me...MOL. Well I thought that I'd check in and let everyone know that I am OK.

Today was the big day....I had my spay surgery.

I just came home about an hour ago and I am still a little dazed and confused from the anesthesia. I was dropped off at 8:30 this morning and picked up this evening at 5:00. I am not sure what exactly is going on. Dr. Barrionuevo performed the surgery. Mommy was really nervous for me. He reassured mommy that I'd be fine. Mommy left me but called at noon to see how I was doing and was told I was doing fine. They told mommy that she could come and get me after 4:00. I'm in a lot of pain but mommy has pain medicine to administer to me with my food. For the next five days, I can do no running or jumping and I have to stay from the other cats. So, no rough housing with Simba and Misty. Nala and I have an understanding so I don't really bother her...MOL. I get to stay in mommy's room and get lots of attention....whoo hoo.
