Arrival Story: I was volunteering at the Humane Society and there was this little litter of kittens that kept getting smaller and smaller until there was only one left. She was just so homely, if that's possible for a cat. At six months, she was scrawny and skittish, but I fell in love with her. The night before she was to be taken to be spayed and go home with me, she sat in my lap purring while I wheeled around the room. But the next day, they called me to tell me that she was too sick to spay and did I still want her? Of course I did, I knew they wouldn't treat her, it wasn't a no kill shelter at the time. So I said yes and went and picked her up, sneezing her little head off. I took her to my vet, who treated her for a variety of minor things such as an upper respiratory infection and ear mites. We waited a while before spaying her, but she has been healthy as a horse ever since then.

Bio: She's not one that likes to be held, but will come up to me often to be petted, and loves to lay on top of the computer and drag her tail across the screen!
