Arrival Story:
Well I had lost my cat, Daphnie, about 6 months before I got Alexa. I wanted a new cat but my parents kept saying no. Then they left to go on a cruise and I asked my mom "What would you do if I got another cat while you were gone". She didn't say anything and left. The very next day I went to ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation) who were at at pet food store, and went to look for a kitten. I made a list of places that was showing cats and kittens that were up for adoption. I knew I wanted a female cat and she had to be long haired. So I went into the pet food store to the area where the kittens were in, and saw a cage with about 5 kittens in. They were all short haired and dark kittens. In the mix was Alexa. I asked them if I could hold her and the minute I did...I fell in love with her. She purred and purred. Love at first sight!

Bio:
Alexa is a wonderful kitty. She knows she is queen of the house and we MUST go by HER rules. She has us VERY well trained. She's a little cuddle bug and will let you know when she is ready for attention! She also is my kitty alarm clock. My regular alarm clock will go off and I turn it off then head back to bed just for an "eye rest". Right when I lay back down she jumps up on the bed and is on my chest licking my nose telling me to wake up! It normally works! She is very chatty and will carry a conversation with you. Whenever I get home from work she "meow's" up a storm. She will tell me all about her day, about all the birds that flew and ate out of the bird feeder, she is a tattle tail and tells on the squirrels who knock food out of the birdfeeder, she will tell me about all her "boyfriends" that live outside. She's just a little meow-box (chatter-box)...it's really cute! She is a great cat and such a mommies girl! Alexa just got a new baby sister, Abby. She loves Abby dearly and took to her right away. If Abby ever meows...Alexa comes running to make sure she's okay. Alexa is always making sure Abby stays clean. She is just a great big sister!
