Arrival Story:
Natasha and her two sisters (all grey) were found as strays on the mean streets of Camden, NJ - definitely NO place for a kitten - and rescued by Compassion For Camden. After seeing them on Petfinder.org, I went to visit them, and fell for Tasha. Two days later, she came to her new home. Little did I know what I was in for...

Bio:
Sad to say, li'l Tash has had a rough life already! She has endured eye infections, respiratory infections, horrendous skin infections and lesions, joint problems, two blood transfusions, and on and on. We have been through hell together. In winter 2004, after a grueling battery of biopsies, ultrasounds, and zillions of other tests, and a few scary close calls, Natasha was diagnosed with lupus (LE) and unspecified food allergies. Summer 2005 she developed transient diabetes as a side effect of the steroids. She is currently not diabetic, but only eats hypoallergenic food and NO snacks! She still gets steroids when her lupus flares up. Pretty high maintenance, huh? She's worth it. We owe it all to the Ryan Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania!!
