Arrival Story:
One day I was at a party at a friends house. I knew he had a cat, because I had heard him complain about how much he hates cats. So the doors were open and in walks this cute little kitty. She rubs against everybody and goes and gets some food. I tell the guy, "O what a cute sweet kitty" He says,"That is not my cat." I said,"That's not nice to say." He said,"It is not my cat, take it home with you, we have to many running around here." I say,"What would your family say if you give away their cat." He said,"But it isn'T my cat." I say,"Ok not your cat your families cat, whatever" He says,"That isn'T my cat, that isn't my daughters cat, that isn't my sons, that isn't my wives, no ones." So then I believe him and take her home with me!
Bio:
Her name, the night I found her was shortly after Dale Earnhardt died. I was never a fan of racing, but I had alot of friends who were. One friend in particular was there the night I found her. This friend had been extremely depressed over the loss and had been wearing black everyday since then. So after I decided to keep this little kitty I needed a name. I thought Meow Mix would be good because she was so colorful and when she came into my friends house she immediately ran to the box of Meow mix. But my depressed friend said,"No name her Dale Earhardt in honor of Dale, and because she looks like she has tire tracks on her." And he started to laugh for the first time since Dales death. So that name stuck and everytime I go to the vet or anwhere where they know her name someone will shout out, "oh look here comes Dale Earnhardt!" and everyone comes to have a look. But I had to change it a little because she is the most loving sweet cat ever, so she is Dale Earnheart.
