Arrival Story:
We foster Maine Coons for Maine Coon Rescue, and Ikey was our first foster. We fell in love with him and the rest is history. He was rescued from the pound.
Bio:
Ikey is the most gorgeous boy ever. He has every trait of a Maine Coon and to look at him you'd think he was purebred. His tail is poofier than all our other cats combined, his mane is thick and filling out nicely, he has cute little ear tufts and some amazingly long "wings" - long hair flowing out from under his arms. He has a great personality - follows you around, curious but laid back, will just lean against your leg waiting for you to pick him up or pet him. He's still very young and has a lot of growing to do yet, and is very playful and loves to wrestle. He'll walk up to the other cats, throw his arm over their neck, and then bite them... and nobody seems to mind this... like it's a ritual bonding thing.

Daddy's home! Twice the lovin! Twice the fun! He wrestles with me and plays with the magic light thing and throws my mouse and I love him! I am so happy he's here that I follow him around into every room and I sniff everything he touches and it's so much fun!

Sleeping is fun. I do it a lot. Mom says I'm too fat. But Peeper is too much of a prima-donna to wrestle with me and she only likes to play tag at night. Mom has a new kitty in the bathroom but she won't let me meet him. I saw him through the door once and he's big like me! So maybe some day we can wrestle!!!
Okay, back to sleep.

Today I slept and slept and meandered into the kitchen in search of some crumbs of kibble that might have spilled onto the floor from breakfast that I haven't already found and gobbled up. Nirmal didn't want to teach me any new Jedi tricks today so I slept some more. That makes me cranky, tho. He is so stand-offish. I just want to be a great Jedi cat like him! Mom wanted to play fetch but she threw the gray mouse and I wasn't interested. So I attacked my blue dishrag and bunny-feeted it until all my aggression was gone. Then I leaned against mom's leg for some love but she was in a hurry so she scritched me for just a second and then left, and I was sad so I slept some more.
