I saw him online and tried to adopt him. I wanted a playmate for Jazzpurr. Katherine, said was already adopted. !!
I was so disappointed, having gone down to Angelicle Cats and met the director, and spoken to his foster mom. I tried to reason it wasn't meant to be. I continued my search, but most of the cats I saw didn't seem to have the look I wanted.
I searched adoption events and shelters. One cat, Wishbone, a Norwegian Forest Mix almost made the cut, but he too was pre-adopted.
I needed a cat, who could blend in with my other 3. Someone who was fearless - although I'd never met him- I knew fatty had that look.
About a month later, I was trying to purchase a cat from a breeder- I was all set to send my $$$ when i got an e-mail, that Fatty's adoption had fallen through.
I e-mailed Savanah, his foster Mom and after walking up 3 flights to meet Fatty- he was everyhting I dreamed he would be, and attending an adoption seminar - another 3 flights of stairs, and paying the fee, and promising never to declaw- I happen to agree so that will be an easy promise to keep, Angelicle cats checked my references. Let me tell you, it was more thorough then when you adopt a kid. Good for them. Jazzpurr's adoption was far less taxing.
Anyway,Fatty is mine. Savanah dropped him off tonight - 7/28/07

Fatty was "fixed" two weeks ago; I honestly didn't want to do it, thinking it might change his affectionate, kitten-like nature;;.but it didn't change a thing; He's a still a puff ball and sleeps and kneads on me all night long! 9/27/07

and two nights ago, I snuck out when TBG went to get her cell phone from her car. I must have been gone close to an hour before TBG realized i was missing.
I squeaked up and down the hall, and I heard her yell "FATTY"?? and then she asked Jazz, "Where's your brother?" She even started to ask Purr-C, but that Siberian Southern Bumkin don't know nothing.
Anyway, I finally showed up and TBG kissed me and took me into the bed with her, where I cuddled the whole night. My long hair makes me look like a rock star. perhaps I'm related to one of the Beatles....I squeak the high notes pretty good.

I have been tagged by Bob...first I have to list 7 things about me.
1. The Big Girl adopted me, after my first adoption fell through- She waited a whole month and went to a seminar and wallked up many flights of stairs - She says it was love at first sight and squeak. (I have that effect on people).
2- I squeak - I don't meow
3 - I love to steal balls and feathers from Jazzpurr and hide them
4 - I will eat anything- and what ever is in Jazz's bowl looks better
5 - One day I will catch a real bird and eat it
6 - I love to knead and suckle on TBG's T-shirts-specially when she' in them

That's what I want The Big Girl to do. I hate being cooped up in this place. True, there are several rooms I am welcome in, but I'm one of those cats that likes to know what goes on behind closed doors. Especially the door that leads to the hallway. Last night TBG took us out to the hall and let us play but, this morning she is to busy getting ready for work.
Tomorrow she is taking me back to that place where they walk around in PJ's. Time for another manicure. I heard her talking to her Big Mom. Jazz is going to, but I don't have the heart to tell him. Last time she took me there, I had to stay, but that's cause I was in for repairs. Well now i work just fine. No more fixin I hope! Just maitenance!
