Hello everycat,
The last time I went to the vet my pancreas values were better and most of the fluid around my belly was gone. All good news! But... my kidney values were still high and my red blood cell count was only 17 :( So, Mum is giving me shots of procrit 3x a week and I am supposed to be eating a special diet. I am good about the shots.
I have been walking around meowing and trying to escape out of the house.(sorry mum) So, mum has been letting me have short supervised visits in the fenced in garden. Problem is they are too short and too supervised Gosh!! I almost got over the fence today heeeheee.

Happy to hear the good news, Molly. Purring that you'll keep improving. Hey, stay away from that fence. Behind the fence there could be big bad dogs. I'm scared of dogs. I always stay close to Mom when we go outside.

It sounds like you're more energetic now, especially if you're trying to escape the house! Yay Molly! Are you still getting any fluid therapy for the CRF? I continue to send angel purrs and lots of protective wingbeats for you.

Last week, I felt sick again and wouldn't eat. I had my blood checked and my BUN was real high again.I got fluids at the vets. When my bun is high, I won't eat. So starting last week, the vet is having mum give me fluids at home. :( After getting the fluids, the next day I start eating. So looks like I am going to need them every week.
The good news is the procrit seems to be working. My red cell count was up 3 points. So I get procrit, Fluids, a potassium supplement and lactulose as needed. Thank you for the purrs and encouragement.
