Leave a treat for Purrcy - Gone Too Soon

Arrival Story: When Purrcy was born, I chose him because he had something wrong with one of his hind feet. I knew no one would want to adopt a kitten with a problem, and those are the ones I usually take. With physical therapy daily, Purrcy's foot straightened out and he became the first at a lot of things: 1st to crawl out of their box, 1st to explore the world outside their cage, 1st to scale the mountain (couch), and 1st to expolore the litter box. I knew he'd be up to life with 'the pack'. There wasn't much that scared Purrcy; he was a tough little guy. Unfortunately, his trust and no fear became his downfall. We lost little Purrcy on July 15, 2004 in a tragedy involving one of the dogs.

Bio: Purry and his other brother and 2 sisters were born in our clinic on April 18, 2004. His sisters, Purriwinkle and Calpurrnia, both found homes: Purriwinkle with my vet and Calpurrnia with a client. Rupurrt, who became Rufus, was adopted along with his sister. Their mother, Purrl, who'd been cast to the streets when the family moved, became pregnant. A good samaritan brought her to our clinic and paid her board to continue her pregnancy and have her babies in a safe place. Mother Purrl still resides at the clinic until the good samaritan can take her home.
