Running crazy, playing, licking, being pet, climbing on her human around 3:50am

Loves to investigate water, but not get wet :^)

Favorite Toy:
The plastic bit you pull out of the soymilk container...loves it. She carries it, flips it...puts it in my shoe and tries to get it out.

Favorite Nap Spot:
By the window, on the bed...wherever

Favorite Food:
She is not a big eater...but will come running if she hears the treat jar being shaken

She would make a good soccer player; shiatsu massage might be her thing too...just wish she'd stop it at 3:50am!

Arrival Story:
I was at the Quincy Animal Shelter visiting Jasper (formerly Uno) whom I fell in love with instantly. The greeter at the shelter was holding Ezzie (formerly Ramira) and I thought she was so sweet. I told her if they thought Jasper and she would get along well I'd take the 2 of them in a second. I took them both and it is working out splendidly.

She is so crazy and wonderful. She my sweet little velvet girl and I adore her. For awhile her one paw was still shaved where they put in the IV during her spaying operation--it looked like she was wearing a boot so I called her "One Boot Ez". By the way--she won 3rd runner up in the Miss Cat Universe Pageant 2007...I'm so proud :^)

Apparently, not everything in the house is mine to use as I please. Last weekend I FINALLY got rid of one of those plants that is in the way of my sun bathing. I kicked it until it fell onto the rug...the clay pot broke and dirt was all over the living room carpet. Perfect!!

Mom didn't agree.

She got the vacuum...and chastized me. "Bad Ezzie...blah blah blah blah blah...."

I tried to help her vacuum by getting as close I could to examine what she was doing...she kept telling me to get out of the way. It was a fun game. She'd toss me to the side...and I'd come back for more.

Then she started to curse...something about the vacuum being clogged and she didn't realize it was spitting the dirt out the back.

I headed to the kitchen to look for something else to do....

I found a cool little blue bottle and batted it around a bit. Then walked about...went into the sink to wet my paws....

La La La.....I'm an artist just like Mom....and I can dance....

Mom finished removing the dirt in the living room (she is no fun).

Then she started freaking out again..."which of you cats has blue food coloring on the paws?"...she grabbed Jasper first and examined his paws..."nope,not you...what a shocker...must be Ezzie..." I tried to hide, but she got me...guess she followed those cool blue foot prints I was making...darn it.

She held me under the warm water in the sink...until the blue went away.

"Blah blah are SO still a kitten...blah blah are an imp....blah blah blah...I love you and wouldn't trade you anything."

Keeping Mom on her toes

So--my human--(we'll call her Mom, but truthfully she looks nothing like me and Jasper...I think maybe she has some kind of OCD problem because she keeps taking all the fur off her legs...she really should see a therapist about this...doesn't she realize how ridiculous she looks?...nothing but skin...yes...white, hairless skin...I talked to Jasper and he clearly prefers furry legs, but still loves her...I finally grew the fur back on my leg and my belly is almost grown back...and look at me--I won 3rd runner up in a pageant...wake up Mom...fur is beautiful!)....

Oh...but we were going to talk about the latest laugh I had. Mom put all these pebbles and stones around the base of her plants so we don't throw the dirt around anymore. She's so clever. I liked the dirt, but I like the stones even better...they make such a great sound when I wack them about the room; and when I throw them down the stairs it's so much more satisfying than when I throw my soft toys: they make such a wonderful racket!

And I don't have to take them back up the stairs--Mom sees them and puts them back by the plant for me while mumbling something about noise...the neighbors hearing...and when is she going to sleep again. We sleep during the day...isn't that what you do, Mom? If you would just follow our lead you'd be a much happier person.

Thanks Mom--keep the great toys coming--despite your bald legs, you're the best!

Yes, it wasn't us

My human came home and saw all the stuff we knocked off the kitchen counter and onto the floor. She said "Now I know someone else had to be in the apt, because MY CATS are not allowed on the counter tops". I looked at her and meowed "No, it was us." ...Jasper nudged me "shush...if she wants to believe someone else did it let her...we can use this to our advantage."

Jasper is so smart.
