Arrival Story:
I went to the shelter determined to get an adult cat (they are always the first to get euthanized) and she stole my heart. She didn't rush up to the front of her cage, but rolled on her back (showing me her tummy) and I could see in her eyes that she trusted me already.
She had just been spayed (bare little tummy), had her shots and got microchipped before we left the facility. Took her home to find out she had fleas and worms (ewww!), so made a few more rounds to the vet soon after.
Took her several days to come out from under the bed, but after she discovered she always had "safety zones" she started venturing out and claiming her territory (which is EVERYTHING, by the way!).
Bio:
Isabelle is fiercely loyal and dedicated. I AM her mom and no one else can have me. We tried twice to have another cat in the home (once a cat and once a kitten), but Isabelle made it very clear that she would not have that. So we're a happy one-cat family now. :-)
Isabelle loves to go outside (strictly supervised). She specializes in eating grass, going to the forbidden "side of house" area where I can't see her, and rolling in the dirt.
