Favorite Nap Spot: The "Summer Palace" under the shrubs in the front garden. Under the lilac tree in the back garden. The Kitty House for winter.

Favorite Food: Hmmm...some cheese now and then? Purina One. Some Sheba and No-Name Food from our local supermarket.

Skills: She is a survivor! Very tough and extremely careful.

Dwells:
outdoors

Arrival Story: She was our neighbour´s cat actually. She was found abandoned in the woods, half eaten by predators, almost furless, and the vet told our neighbour´s daughter there was very little hope that this cat would survive. But survive she did and became the companion to an adorable little dog, lived outside and indoors and slept in Anne´s bed at night. Then the bad days came. Anne had been hankering after a big dog for some time and finally she was given a Golden Retriever pup. Happy no longer felt at home, resented the pub´s overtures and stayed outside for longer and longer periods. Shortly after that the dog had an accident and had to be put to sleep. But now the family moved to a house close by, where other, massive cats ruled the roost. After having been thrashed a couple of times our Princess discovered that her original home was within walking distance and decided to move back! Other neighbours cared for her until they, too, had to move. She´s been our kitty ever since and lives in our garden, in a spacious kitty-condo in winter and in her favorite nap spots in summer.

Bio: So far she enjoys excellent health - touch wood!
She doesn´t trust people too much anymore and I can´t blame her, but her rare signs of affection are very touching.
2 or 3 years ago she went missing for a week or so, she must have been locked in in someone´s shed or garage. She returned weak and at the end of her tether, I think she wouldn´t have lasted much longer without food and water. But she was so glad to see us again!
She´s the bravest little thing I´ve ever seen!

I am Cat of the Day! Wowsa.
I am even more happy to say that I enjoy good health again after I gave mommy a bad fright a couple of weeks ago.
I looked like I was at death´s door but lucky for all of us it turned out to be an infection that a few antibiotics could fix.
Keep your paws crossed for me, furiends!

Today I had a looong nap after breakfast.
Mom could see me from the kitchen window while she was cooking pumpkin soup. (Hmmm - almost Halloween, kitties!)
Then, when I was rested, I got up and looked back at her, all pink-nosed and fluffy white breast.
Mommy said: "Seeing you like this, little one, really gives meaning to the term "Beauty Sleep"!
You betcha!
