Arrival Story:
I was living in a different city with my now ex-bf, my ex was changing jobs and would be gone for weeks at a time. I didn't want to be alone in the apartment while he was gone and since I'm not a dog person, a cat would be the perfect companion when I wasn't working. I had called the Humane Society and some other shelters to see if there were kittens, he was the youngest at 16 weeks. We went down to look at him. Fell in love right away. Took him home. Even when my ex and I were breaking up there was no doubt that Angus would be mine.

Bio:
I asked at the shelter how they had so many cats. Apparently, Angus was rescued with his sister and 19-20 other cats. They were dumped on a country road just outside the city we were living in.The cats were so scared (All of them), that they never moved from the middle of the road, they just stayed where they were dumped. The Animal Protection people came and rescued all of them when they got the call. Made me want to cry. But then I would not have my beautiful, wonderful loving boy had it not been for that. Plus I take Angus to the nursing home I work at for my residents to enjoy as well. I want Angus to become a therapeutic cat for seniors. Good for Angus to overcome his dislike for people and I like volunteering like that as well. Everyone should enjoy Angus.
