Arrival Story:
We found her in the Humane Society lockup. They were calling her Fluffy and she cringed at the name, so we quickly changed it -- our granddaughter chose the name Love and she stopped cringing, so we kept the name. Records show Love was in Humane Society in April 2003 when she was spayed, then was back again in April-May 2004, then returned in April 2007 when her Mom died and the kids brought Love back to the pound, where we found her. She is still quite timid, but when we are seated or laying down, Love suddenly becomes brave and turns into a very vocal and affectionate little girl. She enjoys playing soccer in the middle of the night in the hallway, slamming her toys against doors, then pounding on her humans if she thinks they aren't paying enough attention to her activities and are too interested in laying there snoring away.

Bio:
Love has very large feet, even though she is quite dainty. We discovered, when we went to clip her claws, that she has five toes on each of her back feet (instead of the usual four each) and six on one front foot and seven on the other (instead of five each). The seventh front claw is quite tiny, the size of a kitten's and we didn't notice it, her vet did when she counted her toes. So, instead of the usual 18 toes, our baby has 23 and those front paws look rather like those of a St. Bernard, spread out as they are. She looks big because of all the long fur, but she is quite dainty in appearance and in personality. She is white and dark gray in color, mainly white, with a gray "helmut", tail and three spots on her body.
