He was fine when I left for work this morning, and when I got home I saw him sleeping in the patio. But when I went to touch him, I realized his kitty soul had left his body. My beloved "Big Louie" had left me....and his sister Emma.
I have no idea what happened, but he obviously did not suffer, and had shown no signs of being sick......
Fly free at the Rainbow Bridge, my sweet Maine Coon Man...meowmy loved you, will never forget how you and your sister Emma healed my heart after Hurricane Katrina took my four cats. They greeted you at the Rainbow Bridge. When you learn how, from other Angels, send me whisker kisses from the Bridge.
Your broken heart meowmy........

Louie and I are both pilots, and we got along great because of dis. I enjoyed several fine flights aboard Feline Airlines wif Captain Louis Armstrong piloting. Good times were had by all when Capt. Louie was in charge. My furmily and I will really miss Louie. My sisfur Ruby saw Louie when he reached de Bridge yesterday. She said dat he is flying like a pro wif his new wings already, and can't wait to come back to Earth to give his meowmy kitty kisses and sprinkle her wif Happy Dust. Rest in peace sweet Louie, and fly free at de Bridge...you will nefur be furgotten!

Louis was greeted by many cat angels, we were waiting for him at the Bridge. Louis has two sets of wings now & he needs no co-pilot!
We are purring hard for Louis' family, we understand how much you miss him. Louis knows how much he is loved.
He is already giving the new angels flying lessons!
angel hugs & purrs,
