Inspired by my love of baseball, I wrote my friends a song:
Take me out to the birdhouse
Take me out to the yard
Hang me some bird seed and suet bricks
I don’t care if the birds fly real quick
So let’s root, root, root for the kitty
If I don’t eat it’s a shame
For it’s one, two, three bites I’m done with the free bird buffet!!
Thank you!! (takes a bow)
MOL! Great song Tosca! :D
Love the song, but our Mom is a party pooper and warns the birds if we get too close. We get pigeons on the deck, and we love pigeons (although feeding them makes the neighbors complain), but Mom thinks they might have diseases, and doesn't want us to catch one. She wouldn't try so hard if she didn't know what mighty huntresses we are, so we'll forgive her for now so long as she knows that.
Mom made her own version *ahem*:
Take me out to the birdies,
But if you don't it's okay.
Give me some tuna or mackerel
For all of the birdies that I didn't kill.
So I guess that I'll be alright, I'll
Take your worst with a bow.
But it's one, two, three birds on the deck:
Let me out right now!!!!
Bravo! Very nice! :-)
I love your song lyrics! My Pawrents are BIG Detroit Tigers fans! Hooray!
