indoors Arrival Story: Kocka was found shut in a closet of an apartment where the people had been evicted. The apartment was all tore up, holes in the walls and so on. A co-worker of mine lived next to this apartment and was there when the property manager did a walk though and they found kocka shut in a closet, left behind when the people moved out.
My coworker tried to find a no-kill shelter to take her but they were all full and not taking anymore cats. Knowing I was an animal lover she asked me if I would take her until she could find her a home. Well she found a home and has been with me ever since. Kocka must of spent alot of time in that closet she was afraid of everything it took a long time for her to become acustom to everyday life outside of a closet. She now rules the roost here even though she is the smallest of my 5 cats. Kocka in czech means "cat" but is also used as a slang term for a pretty girl I thought this was very fitting so with her new life came a new name.
