Tabby and White
Playing with my brother TJ, snuggling, eating! He is also obsessed with dried chicken & dried salmon treats (also tuna flakes).
Being separated from TJ and going to the vet.
Catnip toys and honeysuckle toys that mommy just bought! Milk rings and plastic bottle tops are good too.
Favorite Nap Spot:
Next to TJ in his cat bed on a shelf. Or next to daddy.
Cat food is good, but people food is better - I'm good at cleaning off dirty dishes before they go into the diswasher! Oh, and did I mention yogurt? Yogurt is great! And Halo treats too!!
His musical meows and his ability to jump. Also, his ability to steal the treat bin and run off with it.
After losing our beloved Tiger to cancer last year, we were grief stricken (especially my husband who had a very close bond with him). Even worse, our three other kitties were very depressed - especially Tiger's little sister Lily (who is over 10 years old) and Tiger's little buddy Davy (who has cardiomyopathy so stress is not good for him). We decided that the best thing to do was to adopt a new little kitty. We wanted a young one that wouldn't challenge our existing cats. So, we called up the Cat Connection in CA where we had adopted Emerald Star and asked if they had any kittens. The woman who runs the adoptions told us she had some being fostered and put us in touch with their foster mom. After talking with the foster mom, she told us she had 2 little 6 week old boys (brothers) that had been born to a cat whose medical history was well-known and was indoors. This was too much of a good chance to miss as we were concerned with any medical conditions affecting our other little kitties. We raced over to see them and were going to choose one, but of course, my husband and I couldn't decide so we took them both as they were so sweet! When we introduced them to their new kitty family, wouldn't you know it, they cheered both Davy and Lily right up and gave them purpose to teach the little ones the ways of being a cat. Now they're one big happy family and I'm so grateful for these little cuties to cheer both my husband and I up, as well as our kitties (and now Emerald Star has some boys to play with as she was youngest - on her terms of course!). And it's adorable to watch the two little brothers snuggle up together - they're really inseparable! Cougar is the bigger of the two and loves to clean up table scraps. I was thrilled since Tiger used to clean up my cereal bowl, etc., and now Cougar has taken over full responsibility for this LOL! I have a feeling that Cougar will continue to get a bit bigger and he is the dominant brother. And did I mention that we brought them home, they immediately knew how to use the litter box, and ate lots of food! Also, these two are very water oriented. They love the water from the sink and will even walk a little in bathtub water (just a little, not too much). So they now have little water fountains to drink from, but still like the water from the tap! They also ended up teaching our newest addition, Sammy, the ways of being a cat! We couldn't have picked a more perfect duo to fit into our little cat family. Great little boys!
Cougar is the larger of the two brothers and has black and white (with a touch of beige) tabby markings (ocicat spots all over) with an adorable concentration of spots on his belly. His meows are melodic too! Oh, and it should be mentioned that he seems to be romancing Emerald Star and I think the two might be a little couple (no kittens as everyone is spayed and neutered in our house).

Woo Hoo! I'm one of the diaries of the day! I can't believe it - it's sooo cool! Mommy says she will give me an extra treat (hopefully the dried chicken kind, those are the best!). So I probably should mention what's been going on in my life. Well, as usual, me, TJ, and Sammy have been running around the house like mad - mommy calls us the three stooges. I don't know what that means, but she seems to laugh when she says it. Oh, and mommy got us a new drinking fountain. Okay, so she says it's not supposed to be a drinking fountain for us, she says it's a tabletop relaxing zen fountain for her. But really, what would be its purpose - just to sit there and drip? That makes no sense to either me, TJ, Sammy or Davy. So we've taken it upon ourselves to show mommy that it is indeed a cat drinking fountain. And it has these cool lights that make drinking from it even more fun. Mommy says not to drink, but she seems amused by us, so maybe she's realizing that it is a nice cat fountain. I mean, we only have 3 other cat fountains to choose from, what does she expect us to do? Well, more of my adventures later!

Today is my birthday! And my brother TJ's too! We're 1! Can anyone believe it? Mommy and Daddy can't! They've been singing us the birthday song and Daddy made me dance while he sung - the indignity of it all! BUT we both got special treats and hugs and kisses (but we only really liked the treats part). I'm a big grown up boy now, which means lots more naps and more eating I guess, I really don't know. I'll have to ponder it while I eat.
Cougar, the birthday boy!

The other day, I was so smart! When mommy was half asleep early in the morning and had forgotten to put out the garbage, she decided to throw a few things away in the fridge. Well, I quietly went up to the open fridge door and found those wonderful dried chicken treats that mommy hides in there! I almost got them open the other day, so mommy put the container in a ziploc bag. Well, I grabbed the bag and ran under the futon with it! Ha ha! She was so sleepy, I outran her and there I was, treats in hand!! Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to open them, so when mommy came back in from putting out the garbage, I brought them out a little and she was nice enough to give me some!! Oh, and I had to share with everyone else who came over too, but that was okay. Now I've tried to look on the door when mommy or daddy have opened that magic fridge, but mommy seems to have moved them. Hmmm, I'll have to devise a new plan.....In the meantime though, mommy let me share her yogurt. I love when she does that - she says we're the healthiest around for eating it!
