Arrival Story:
After moving out with my girlfriend into our 1st apartment I wanted to get a cat but she wasn't to thrilled. So when I came home from work at Christmas I walked in to find her and her boyfriend looking at me with a strange face - I was like what are you two up to? Then I saw a cat toy on the floor and started yelling "Here KITTY KITTY!" and this little black fur ball raised his head up on our couch were he was sleeping! I went over and picked him up and kissed him and have had him ever since!

That year we got our 1st REAL christmas tree - it smelled good in our apartment - the night before Christmas we were watching TV and had the lights on the tree but Scrooge was acting crazy jumping into the tree and circling it. I turned on the lights to check it out and WOA! On every little pine needle were baby praying mantises! They must have hatched because of the temperature in our apartment. Holy Cow - There must have been 10,000 of them - I called the human society and asked them what to do! They would not come and get the tree and we were forced to put the tree outside on the balcony! NO more REAL trees since! or Tinsle since scrooge was so fond of eating it! In August of 2008 Scrooge was diagnosed with Kidney Disease and was given about 2 months - Scrooge held on for almost a year but on July 27th his health deteriorated and we had to let him go. He will never be forgotten! Thank you Scrooge for all the wonderful memories until we meet again!
