Birthday:
April 22nd 2006

Coloration:
Orange Tabby

Likes:
jingly balls, crinkly balls, other toys that can be batted about and carried in the mouth, being petted, particularly on the head, fighting with Linus, cat treats.

Pet-Peeves:
sharing, being picked up/held, going to the vet.

Favorite Toy:
crinkly ball. hands down. used to be a puffy ball, but over time, it lost its puff, which was a majority of its charm, I guess. :)

Favorite Nap Spot:
he has a lot of napping spots, but one is probably on top of the cat perch/condo/whatever you call it. He also likes the Ikea chair in our living room.

Favorite Food:
anything. really. he might kill for cheese though!

Skills:
he can flatten himself and go under our entertainment center to retrieve balls or generally be a nuisance. This is on hardwood laminate floors, so it's quite a feat to get in and out!

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
He came from my aunt's farm--they have a couple of barn cats, and I had been thinking about getting a new kitten and it so happened that their mama cat had a kitten at that time. And he became mine! Poor guy lost his brother (or sister) just a day or two after they were born. His momma always had small litters! He's loving having a big "brother," especially when he is groomed.

Bio:
Winston had a rough start in life. Not only did he lose his sibling, but, probably at birth, he was infected with herpes, which has caused quite a few respiratory issues. Luckily, he seems to have FINALLY gotten over them at about 8 months. About a month after that, he also had some gastrointestinal problems and lost a lot of weight. Luckily, though, after about a month, he was eating again, gaining weight, and back to keeping Linus on his toes! Happy kitties all around. :)
