Nicknames: Miss Bella, Bella Girl, Bell Bell...oh, and NOBella! & BellaNO! Mol!! (my full name is Isabella, but no one ever calls me that!)
Birthday: February 7th 2006
Coloration: Tabby and White
Likes: Cuddling with meowmy and getting Lots of love and attention, EATING, playing with my toys, playing in my kitty cubes (and attacking any passersby!), watching birdies from the cat hammock and kitchen window...oh my, there are too many things to list!
Pet-Peeves: When Tuxedo, my cat brother, annoys me. (But, a few good warning swats set him straight every time!) I also Hate getting my nails trimmed! (I protest loudly the whole time and try to squirm away from meowmy!)
Favorite Toy: My latest favorite toy is my Cat Dancer!!! I go Crazy for it!! My fav was purple furry mouse. But, when I nearly ate it, leaving it gooey & mangled, meowmy took it away. (Tee hee, she was about to blame the dog for it until she caught me in the act!)
Favorite Nap Spot: Oooh, a tough choice. There are so many good sleepy spots to choose from! My favorites are MY blue bed from Morgan, the kitty hammock by the window, the secret warm spot on the floor, Tuxedo's boxtop and under the bed covers snuggled next to meowmy. :)
Favorite Food: Shrimp Nip! Tor-tee-ya Chips! Cheese! And well, pretty much anything. I'm Not a finicky kitty!
Skills: Purring up a storm, marathon cuddling, (Bopping Tuxedo), and being cute!!
Arrival Story: I was trying to get inside this nice man's house by squeezing through the mail slot. Sadly, I couldn't fit, so I hung out outside on his front stoop instead. Then one night, the nice man came home from work and was joined by meowmy!!! He put me in a cage in meowmy's car and off we went. Meowmy was AMAZED that I purred and kneaded the soft blanket in my cat carrier the entire 30 minute ride home. (She is used to Tuxedo who yowls his head off when in the car!) She was going to find a good home for me since she and daddy already had a cat and dog, but I was just too sweet and loving to part with! I think they made an excellent choice!! Purrrrrrrr.
Bio: (as told by Bella's "meowmy")
Bella is an extremely affectionate and friendly cat. I brought her home on Sept. 7, 2006 from a co-worker's house (she was living outside). We were going to foster her until we found her a terrific home, but her super loving personality quickly won us over. Just like our Rainbow Bridge kitty, Figaro, Bella has been a brave little girl from day one and it seems like she has been living here for years, instead of just a month and a half. She has no fear of her big brother Tuxedo and was just a little nervous around her dog brother, but quickly learned that he was harmless. Bella already knows her name and all of the coveted catnap spots around the house (the warm spot on the floor, the kitty hammock, and yes, even Tuxedo's favorite box top on top of the oil burner!). She's a vocal little girl who will greet you with tiny mews and endearing "brrrr"noises, but when it's feeding time - Watch Out - that's when she breaks out her loud and whiney voice that makes one almost wish they were deaf! Bella is still quite a playful little kitten, tearing around the house at breakneck speed and attacking anything that intrigues her, including her doggie brother's tail! She keeps Tuxedo in line. Whenever he's "in the mood," a few warning swats from Bella will send him on his way (thank goodness)! Again, her most striking trait is how loving she is. Bella has a wonderful, motor boat purr and will use it at the drop of the hat. She's a lap cat and a kneader who loves to snuggle and will gladly make herself cozy under a blanket. Miss Bella likes to play "Queen of the Human" in the morning and will stand on anyone who is not getting up to feed her, or better yet, "Attack the stirring body parts under the covers" (that one gets her fed pretty quickly). And of course, I mustn't forget to mention how cute she is! Her most notable features are her two-tone nose and mouth (they are both half outlined in black), her one black whisker (the rest are all white), and her tail which always seems to make a "J" (which just happens to be her meowmy's initial - a strange coincidence!) :) Bella has brought so much love and happiness to our lives in such a short amount of time, making each day an exciting new adventure. We are so happy to have her as part of our family.
CATSTER HONORS: 2006 "Stretch and Yawn" Photo Contest Finalist *** 12/28/06 Daily Diary Pick
Last night, at 2:00AM, I had a HUGE burst of energy and needed to play, Play, PLAY!
I began by attacking an evil Bed Mouse under the covers of meowmy and daddy's bed! However, instead of praise for my bravery, daddy shouted "OW!! SHE BIT ME!!" and promptly kicked me off the bed! Humph! Okay, I did NOT bite daddy, I was SAVING him from a terrifying and ferocious Bed Mouse! (Duh!) Someone Really needs to clue daddy in on this whole Bed Mouse thing. *rolls eyes*
Then, I noticed a sheet on the floor that had been kicked off the bed too. It was laying there in a big heap, looking Very suspicious. I thought I detected a twinge of moment. There was no time to waste! I leapt into the air and pounced on it with all four paws extended! It moved! It moved! I definitely saw it this time! I raced this way and that, back and forth across the sheet, Trying to catch the creature that was hiding beneath it! But, each time I moved, the noise from the sheet moved as well! It was very sneaky indeed! I was THIS close to catching it when...
meowmy got out of bed, picked up the sheet, and put me on the kitty window perch.

We had lots of company! Yesterday my aunt and uncle visited and I got tons of scratchies and compliments from them. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! It's been a long time since they've seen me and they were surprised at how small I still am! *giggle* (Yup, I'm a dainty little girl, and the v e t said I will stay this way.) Auntie and uncle brought over their stinky doggie (to play with Mr. Domino), but he doesn't scare me one bit! (Plus, he's like, cat sized! Mol!)
And today, my favorite Grandma came over! Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Oooh, she is the best! She always gives Tux and I tasty treats like bits of cheese and bacon. Purrrrrrrrr! And, of course, she always cuddles us a whole lot and tells us how cute we are! Purrrrrrrrrrrr! (I just Love that woman!)
In the world of mysteries and unsolved cases, I am proud to announce that I solved my very first case yesterday! *dances around* It was the case of the Cool 9! Tons of kitties received rosettes from them and I got a clue in my shoutbox! The clue helped me figure out that the Cool 9 were none other than Pumpkin and family! Thank you so much for all the fun!
Later in the day, I received an ADORABLE anonymousie rosette from Pipsqueak that said "Happy Saturday, Bella!" and has a little kitty on it with what appears to be a Hamster jumping up and down on its tummy! MOL! MOL! MOL!!! Soooo funny!!
Thank You, Pipsqueak, for my butterfly rosette and for brightening my day!! Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Now, to hunt for more clues!
