I've been tagged TWICE! Wow!

Here are 5 facts about ME!

1) When Mom first got me at age 12, I had to have my entire body shaved because I was so matted and dirty. I was abandoned when my last owner moved away. I looked half the size without my fur and it was COOOLD!

2) I have CRF & hyperthyroid but I try not to let it get me down.

3) I love all food. I am always hungry. I will try any people food at least once.

4) I am pretty scared of my fur bro, Leaf. He is such a bully to me, but mom squirts him with the water gun and protects me.

5) I am the only cat who is allowed outside because I don't go more than 10 feet from the house and I just like to go out and eat some grass. The boys in my family can't be trusted to go out.

I just want to thank everyone who sent me pawmail and rosettes yesterday when I was COTD! What a great day! I felt so much love from all my catster friends. Thanks everyone!

Cat of the Day!

Wow I can't believe they picked an old gal like me to be cat of the day! I feel so honored! I hope Mom takes out that special tuna that I saw in the cabinet. This is going to be a wonderful day!

Heated bed RULES!!!

My heated bed came today. It is the best thing since sliced tuna! When mom took it out of the box, I was a little apprehensive, but mom put catnip in it and I got right it for 6 hours straight! As soon as I got out, my brother Yoda got in. He is hogging it right now, but I will get it back! Mom bought it for MEEEEE!

I just got home from the vet . . .

. . . and he gave me the most embarrassing haircut ever! They shaved my mats off my bottom and I look totally ridiculous. Mom said she is going to take a picture, but not if I can help it! Then they clipped my claws which really makes me mad. Grrrrr. I also got sub Q fluids for the first time. Mom is going to give me 100ml every day for 10 days and see how it goes. I'm glad that's over with! Mom's going to order my heated bed now. Til next time friends!

Going to the vet . . .

Mom is taking me to the vet on Wednesday morning. I am going to get sub Q fluids and get my fur shaved where it is matted. I have been doing pretty well over the last few days, but staying in my bed a lot more than usual. Mom hopes the fluids make me feel better. She is really worried about me and hoping that I don't feel sick. She said she doesn't know how to tell if I am feeling good or bad, but she did notice I stay in bed more than I used to. Please send me purrs for my vet visit! I am always a really good girl at the vet's.

Not feeling great . . .

Well for the last couple days I have been feeling extra tired. I don't even want to get our of bed to eat. Eating is usually my favorite thing, and I am always the first cat waiting at the food bowls! I am just too tired to get out of bed to go to the food bowls. Mom has been really sweet and lets me eat in bed. She brought me my bowl and helped me eat. I like my bed in the bathroom too. Mom keeps the heat up in there so I stay nice and warm. I also get more privacy from those stupid brothers of mine. They are not always nice to me, but I guess they are trying to play. Mom said something about a heated bed for me! I hope she gets me one! That would be so cozy. Well I am tired again so I am going back to my bed. Until next time friends!
