Favorite Nap Spot: my chair, with human sis, my bed
Arrival Story: Dal was a stray rescue from the local university. I think some students had her and let her out before they left for the summer. They probably couldn't find her before they had to leave. Someone told me about this cat searching for food there and I went to check it out. She didn't really trust at first but within an hour we became friends. The next day I went back and she was there still. So I took her home.
Bio: Dal was use to being outside and catching birds, mice etc. I didn't like this but it was really hard to keep her inside. She would take the screens off the windows and get out during the night. Anyway, we moved to my dad's house and he lived in an apt downstairs. One day ( I thought Dal was inside ) my dad was telling me that there was a cat across the street that looked like Dal and would keep comming over to our yard. My dad would shew it away but this cat wouldn't leave. I went over to the cat and the closer we got I knew it was Dal. I told my dad that this cat wouldn't leave because it was Dal. Finally we had enought of dead birds on the lawn and we kept the windows closed so she couldn't take the screens off. It only took 2 weeks and after that she never wanted to go out anymore.
