There's Vara, then Vira and now Vora!
7.30am: Switched on my mobile and there were two sms-es from Auntie P regarding Chocolate-Boy. He seemed to have some mild seizures late last night and he messed up the mattress with poo and pee. In the car, while I was speaking to Phyllis to arrange for Chocolate-boy to be picked up for vet consultation, I saw a grey kitten running about in the area between the carpark and a block of HDB flats. After I hung up the phone, I searched for the kitty and found it hiding amongst the shrubs. I picked up a plastic bag nearby and carried her in it to my flat. I locked her in a carrier and then arranged for Vincent, the pet taxi, to pick her up later for vaccination and lodging with Phyllis. It (likely a 'she') was very calm in my arms. She is definitely a home-bred kitten that was just abandoned!

Vora was adopted this afternoon
It is hard not to fall in love with this very happy kitten.
Dalilah and her family fell in love with her right away and brought her home.
5th August 2006: Phyllis has contacted the family twice. Vora is now called Nora. She is confined in a big cage and allowed to roam freely indoors only when the parents are home.
