I'm Getting Married!!!!!

On August 9th, my beloved Rascal finally popped the question! I'm still pinching myself! Rascal and I met 3 years ago when I came to the Bridge and have been together ever since.

He is my purrfect soul mate! I never thought I could love another after I left my beloved Christopher back on earth But I know he is as happy for me as I am for him. Christopher met a lovely girl here on Catster named Dolly and they are very much in love.

Rascal and I haven't set a date yet, there's plenty of time and much planning to do. I'm definitely floating on Cloud Nine! MOL!

Manya's Gift

The recent passing of Buddie and McKenna opened up a huge floodgate of tears and memories for my mom. I remember hearing mom pray every night after I came to the Bridge for me to somehow, someway find another kitty and have my sould enter that cat's body and come back to her.

Not only did I find one kitty over the past year to send to my mommy with a part of me---but FOUR!

Oreo has my silliness--always there to make my mommy laugh; Callie got my aloofness.....to much of it I'm afraid; Isis got my sensitive side--always by mommy's side when she needs comfort; and Whiskers has my kitten-ish-ness...doing kitten-y things to make mommy smile.

So mommy, I heeded your prayers and came back to you--one cat just wasn't enough to hold all the love I have for you!

My furst anniversary at the Bridge

Hi! I guess I should have written this before now. But it was a difficult year for both me and my mommy.

I came to the Bridge last April 20th after a two and a half year battle with cancer. I was first diagnosed when my mommy adopted me in 2003. They gave me 6 months to live. Well...I lived two years and nine months!

My mommy gave me a loving home, good food, a sister and a boyfriend, lots of food and lots of tuna!

She fought long and hard my last few months to keep me with her, but I lost the battle in April of 2006.

Mommy was sad for a long time. I even sent her a new kitty to cheer her up, but she still cried for me.

She realizes now that I am healthy once again and happy here with Rascal, Ani, Tigger (Ani and Tigger happen to be the kittens of the cat I sent to her), Toffee and Izzy.

I miss my mommy very much and she misses me. But we both know that we will see each other again one day.
