Arrival Story:
Simon was born 2 days after I married my 2nd husband so he is our wedding gift.

It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that I have to tell everyone that my beloved Simon is now with Tucker at the Rainbow Bridge. He died in my arms at 12 noon today, June 14, 2010. I'm having him privately cremated so that he can sit on the mantel next to his grandma and Tucker.

O Lord our God, I come before You this day in sadness. Simon, who brought me so much joy in life, has now died. His happy times in my embrace has come to an end. I miss Simon already.
Help me, O God, to remember the good times with Simon. Remind me to rejoice in the happy times he brought to my home. Let me be thankful for the good life I was blessed to give to him.
I am grateful to You, God, for creating Simon, for entrusting him to my care, and for sustaining him in my love for a measure of time. I understand that all that lives must die. I knew that this day would come. And yet, O God, I would have wanted one more day of play, one more evening of love with Simon.
O God, as I have taken care of Simon in life, I ask that You watch over him in death. You entrusted Simon to my care; now, I give him back to You. May Simon find a happy new home in Your loving embrace.
As I remember Simon, may I love each of my other babies more dearly. May I care for all Your creatures, for every living thing, as I protected the blessed life of Simon. May his memory bless my live with love and caring forever. Amen.
