Dear furrriends,
I just had to take a break from the intensive angel training program I’m enrolled in to check in with all of you. When I’m not learning trade secrets from the real pros up here I’ve been doing my best to keep a watchful eye out for all of you, no easy task either…..you guys are all over the place! But know matter what I’m doing, always, all of you, are in my heart *drool*.
Sometimes I think I’ll never get the hang of the angel life. I’m a pretty good cat – I managed to get here, but I like to have fun just as much as any earthly cat! I wish some of the angels had more of a sense of humor, especially the really die-hard (no pun intended) ones who’ve been here a long time, they take their job too seriously! So, let me explain....it’s really, really hard to just play “hide”….and not seek, and apparently we’re not supposed to hunt and chase and play with any little thing that moves, which is what I used to do, we are supposed to respect all the little creatures residing here (there is a cat-only “canned” hunting ground with robotic prey, but where’s the spontaneity, the intrigue, there?). Then there’s the flight training, I have got myself into trouble more than once when my legs go into full gear before it’s time to take off and fell flat on my face…..thank goodness for soft landings in the clouds we use for runways. It really takes some masterful coordination! I thought all the things the angels do just came naturally, boy was I wrong, you really have to work at it!
Oh, I need to thank all of you, too. Leaving when and how I did was very rough on my Mom, and the kind things you cats did for me and for her was for certain a big help to us both. The rosettes, the purrs, the candle lighting……engaging her and distracting her and the rest of kitties at home was just what she needed! What are those candies that are hard on the outside and soft in the middle? They are just like my Mom! Her lap and head scratches are sorely missed, I have yet to find a good replacement for that here!
I did see that every cat had a grand time in Vegas last week. At least several angels were coveting *hopes his superior’s didn’t hear use that no-no word to describe their obvious envy* Blade’s incredibly pink bling! I could hardly stay away, matter of fact, when I saw my sweet Bean in her show-stopping showgirl style, I snuck down there for a few up-close and purrsonal peeks *drool and imagines nose kissing his furgirl*. And don’t let Oliver fool you, that innocent face and boyish good looks take him a long way….all that about being on the bus the whole time you all were playing….Not! Ol’ Target saw him slip in that Pussycat Club with 24/7 live shows! That saying there……what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, I guess that’s kind of like here….but I think it’s much more exciting there!
Well, I’ve got to get to my Intermediate Guardian Strategies class now. It’s been nice meowing to you all, I miss you, until next time….
