Arrival Story:
After our dog of 16 years passed away I missed the pitter-patter of little paws around the house. A feral cat had a litter of kittens just a few weeks before we had to say goodbye to our dog, and I had been feeding the mother. Smokie and her brother Leftie were the only two that we ever saw and they were both sweet and loved to be picked up and talked to, so the decision was made to once again have the pitter-patter of little paws in our house!

No more training for now

Leftie went and tried to kill Mom. I didn't know he was going to take the competition so seriously, but boy did he! Landed right on her chest in the first attempt. Poor Mom.

She wasn't feeling well today and stayed in bed for a while, I wanted to make her feel better but Pee Wee and Mister Whiskers were in bed with her so I just laid on the floor next to the bed. She knew that I was there and that I love her.

Tigger helped me get one of the lost toys out from under the dishwasher. She's okay most of the time. I just have to remind her every now and then that she may be the Princess, but I am the QUEEN.

I'm off to ask Mom for more catnip.

Training for the Olympics

I have decided to get in shape for the Cat Olympics which shall be coming soon to our house. The humans don't know yet, boy will they be surprised!

The Headboard Long-Jump is the event that I am hoping to win a gold medal in. My personal best was to jump from the headboard and land at the very bottom of the mattress. If I keep training, I know that eventually I will be able to completely clear the mattress and land on the floor.

And of course there is Kibble Soccer, which is one of the most popular events.

Well, back to training!
