Dr.Krakauer came to check on Nemo last night. She thought Nemo seemed to be doing very well. She agreed with our decision not to give Nemo steroids. From now on we will focus on keeping Nemo comfortable until he tells us it’s time.
I am excited for Nemo. I’m excited that he will soon be rid of this diseased body; He will soon be free of FIV. Maybe his next human companion will also figure out what an adventurous soul he is and takes him to walk in the meadows, on the beach, and in the snow. I am excited that soon he will be able to eat whatever he wants. When I meet another earplug and corn litter loving animal, or human(!), I will know it’s Nemo.

Nemo, you are so lucky to have such loving and unselfish staff. I'm so happy they are thinking of you and what is best for you. They would never try to make you stay when you are ready to try your angel wings. I can't wait to see you again, old friend.
Sending purrs for Nemo & family.
Big big hugs to you and your family.
Nemo, I know you are one special cat - I've known that since the day I met you. And if another human is graced by your presence some day, they would be lucky indeed. But for now, I just want to say that you are lucky too, to have such a loving, giving family in Susie and Mike, and TinTin. But I think you know that too, don't you, my dear wonderful friend.
All my purrs and hugs to you and your family!
