C.C. now lives with my parents. She is most comfortable with their house since she knows it the best.
Bio:
C.C. is an incredible cat. Several years ago, she killed one of the baby birds my mom was raising. Her punishment was banishment to the outside. She stuck close to the house, but we didn't see her much. It wasn't until just this year that we realized her eyesight was failing. We noticed she walked in a pattern around the yard. I took her to the vet, but it was too late to reverse the blindness. We cleaned her up and brought her back inside. Despite years of living outside and now the blindness, she remembered where everything was and even got into the same mischief she had when she was younger, scratching the same place on the same furniture. She also remembered the front of the fridge was her favorite spot to sleep. Even when we try to confine her, like when we painted the living room, she still managed to open the door, climb the baby gate and walk through the paint pan to leave paw prints on the floor.
