Arrival Story:
We had just lost our beloved Sydney Bud Raskin and wanted another pure white cat. The North Shore Animal League (Syd's original home) called to say they had a special pure white kitten for us ... that was Mickey.
Bio:
We adopted Whitey Ford the week before Mickey Mantle joined our family. (In Mickey's words: I was happy to join this family that loves cats, and white cats in particular. I am a sweet guy. I don't get into trouble. My favorite playmate growing up was Whitey Ford. He sort of stays to himself now. I love to be outside. I especially like to climb up the tree beside our house and walk on the roof. Sometimes I just sit up there looking out on our street watching everything go by! Jeter is a bit annoying, but he's ok. I LOVE to eat. In fact ... I can hear a can of food opening a mile away! When in the house, I have a favorite red chair right next to the computer. That makes it easy for me to communicate with my fellow whitesters in the Pure White Kitty Club group.)
