Smokey was a beautiful, amazing creature that brought years of joy to my life, and my family's lives. She made a cat-person out of my stubborn father, and was my best friend and confidant through my tumultuous teenage years. I can hardly believe she's been gone this long, and I continue to miss her every single day.
