Dear Friends,
I want to thank the kind purrson(s) who sent me an anonymous rosette - the power of the paw. I appreciate it so much!
Since I am writing in my diary, I want to give you an update. I have a vet appointment this Wednesday so Mom can discuss my recent nausea and occasional vomiting with my vet. I will also have my blood pressure and weight checked.
I have not needed anti-nausea medicine before, but Mom hopes I can benefit from it. As for the high blood pressure, it is a result of my CRF, and it is under control with daily medication.
It has been over a year since I was diagnosed with CRF, and I have done well during that time, all things considered. My quality of life has been good. Mom and I are grateful for that. There is no cure for CRF and we are just taking it one day at a time now.
I send my love to all my friends. Please know you are all cherished! I wanted to mention a few furs in particular: Angels Rocky Ann, Louis LeBeau, Mercy, Henry (my best furriend) and Hazel Lucy, I miss you. Genny (The Generator) and Elise, my Niece Zoey and Nephew Zack, you are in my heart always.

Hi Friends,
Another snow storm is on its way, probably this Thursday. Some weather bureaus have predicted a foot or more of snow for our elevation. Last week we had about 7 inches of snow--you can see the pics on my page. :) About three inches is still on the ground in shady spots.
Mom got stuck in the car in the snow storm last Thursday on her way home from work. A kind lady with a four-wheel drive truck stopped for Mom and gave her a ride home. Mom and Dad don't have a 4 wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle (yet) so it's pretty much impossible to drive in the snow with their cars. By next Winter they hope to have a vehicle which can handle the snow when needed.
Hopefully we will have power and Internet like we did last week when it stormed. If not, I'll be in touch when I can.

1) Giving me my liquid high blood pressure medicine. Bleh!
2) Trying to give me fluids...I jump all over the place!
3) The day my mom and dad rescued Bob, my kitty sibling! :(
4) Rescuing feral kittens Marmelade and Midge. They bother me; I'm old dagnabbit!!
5) When Mom gets up in the middle of the night. I like to snuggle with Mom and I don't like to be disturbed.

Dear Friends,
It's Christmas eve and my mom and dad and us kitties (and my birdie brothers) are having a nice quiet evening at home. I am thinking of my sister Taylor, as this is our first Christmas apart in 18 years. I miss her dearly as do Mom and Dad. Also, I miss my brother Buddy who is at Rainbow Bridge as well.
I, and my siblings, thank you for all the Catster gifties, p-mails and gifts. It has been a wonderful Catmas time for us all!

Hi Friends,
Because of the new features on Catster, many kitties were unable to find out which kitties were making diary entries. Some were asking after the kitty whose mom has cancer. Her name is Mawse. Her page is: Mawse

Dear Friends,
Thank you! Thank you so much for all the birthday well-wishes, gifties, pmails, and gifts for my birthday! I wanted to take a moment to let you know how special a day you helped to make it.
All of my brothers and sisters and I had Fancy Feast Elegant Medleys for our dinner. Mom bought several flavors that she thought I would like, and I got to sample all of them. My siblings loved sharing in the birthday dinner! We also had Pounce treats for desert. :)
Since I don't play with toys anymore, but I love catnip, we had a catnip fest in the evening after dinner. Mom sprinkled it all around, on our cat tree and scratch mat. Everyone partook of it and we lay around afterward and had a grooming session.
I was so mellow I even let Bob lay upon my Heated Wellness bed that my niece and nephew, Zoey and Zack, sent me, and I didn't even smack him! Mol
We had the greatest day and Mom had so much fun opening my gifties and such on Catster!
