I had a little setback on Wednesday night, but I'm doing better now. My mom took me into the vet yesterday and it seems I needed some fluids to help me feel better. There is good news and bad news. The good news is, my weight is up. I gained some ounces since my checkup last month. :) The bad news is that the vet heard a heart murmur. This is something new, but she thinks/hopes it is due to my being somewhat dehydrated yesterday. I go back to see her on Saturday for a follow-up.
The other good news is that my blood pressure is normal. The change in the amount of medication has helped. It was slightly elevated last month, so the vet upped my Amlodipine.
Mom and Dad are going to start taking me into the vet to get fluids administered, since I won't allow them to do it themselves at home. The vet said that they won't charge for the administering of the fluids, just for supplies, so that helps out financially. :)
Purrs that the heart murmur is temporary would be most welcome.
Sweet Tigger, you are always in my purrs! But I will fly by and sprinkle you with extra healing dust. I will bring Wally and Syd and a bunch of my pals, OK?
Love you very much~
The fluids will definitely help you feel better. We will purr for that heart murmur to go away. It's really nice that your vet is willing to work with your family on the cost things.
We are sending you and your family some purrs and prayers. Hope you feel betters soon.
Have a great weekend.
Love, Kibbles family
