Long Time No See (Diary Entry #24)

Well, apparently our furry family thrives on irregularity.

Recent updates in my life? More than you know. We have another dog-- I don't mind him in the least, and I even come out of hiding now that Indy chases me so much less; it's a real pain in the tail to be rushing off every time he notices I'm about.

Hmmm.
I lost my aunt, Tosh, this past summer as well, and that's been hard on everyone-- mum's also noticed that I'm starting to "look old". I beg to differ! I look distinguished.

I'm looking forward to getting back into Catster!

Great (Diary Entry #23)

On top of the puppy (who isn't as awedul as I thought) there's ANOTHER cat in the house. She's a visitor, but she comes a lot. Right now her owner is moving to her new house, so she's living with us. T_T

Humongous Puppy-filled Update (Entry #26)

Alright.. when I last mewed to you Catster-folk, the puppy was a mere idea- I still had hope he was a mere figment of the human children's imaginations... and he's not. He's here- in my house... and he's scared me into living in the basement. Unfortunately, because of that, I only get news from Tosh who is (possibly mistakenly) brave enough to go upstairs.

As far as she tells me, there are also Christmas hamsters at my house... they're like mice only they aren't afraid of cats. It's terrible. At least they aren't predators; simply prey.

It's Official (Diary Entry #25)

There's going to be a puppy at my house. It's shameful and unusual but I'm almost looking forward to it... showing the little fur-rocket who's boss around here. I might just crawl to the forums and ask around for some advice from kitties who live with dogs. If you do, drop me a MEOW please!

They bring home pictures and I'm not happy to see that the puppy is getting bigger and bigger. And he smells bad, too. Although, they talk about the "breeder" giving him a bath. Haha! That should be punishment enough. Serves him right for trying to get into my house.

Anyway, I have to go contemplate the rest of my existance as a house cat- a house-shared-by-a-dog cat, soon. *sigh*

Grrrowl (Diary Entry #24)

The humans have gone and done it. They've decided on getting their puppy. An Australian Shepherd. *grr* Let me at 'im!! I do not want one of them sharing MY house, or stealing MY food, or chasing MY me! Is that too much to ask for? The humans said I get to see puppy before he's let out of his crate and get to introduce myself. But I don't want to... And puppy gets to go on Dogster and be listed as my FAMILY, of all things! I do not like puppy business...

Information on the puppy that's been floating around the house:
It's mother is a red tri- whatever that is- and it's father is a blue merle- ditto.
Also, even though it's being born in two days, it isn't coming to our house until April.
Good. I can keep my house canine-free until then. I need to go sniff the house and make sure the humans didn't lie...

Much-Needed Update (Diary Entry #23)

A much-needed diary update. *sigh* I am uninspired today and would much rather be somewhere else. Like lying in those gold spots on the floor where it's suddenly very warm. Love-mews to Lailu, whom I intend to send a message to later today when I have something more to write. My group, The Canadian Catsters, grew extremely popular overnight and I would love to thank Buckwheat for his patriotic, rosette-giving-self having joined up!

We have a contest for all those interested and will be waiting with baited (that word makes me think of fish- mmmmm... Sorry! Distracted...) breath for all those awesome entires. We've got our spiffy banner all made up and ready for to be won!

I want to wish everyone a happy late St. Valentines Day!

The "P" Word (Diary Entry #22)

The worst word in the human language. For cat-kind at least. The people are getting a puppy. Dog, canine, canis stupidus, in latin. The big Dad says I am being replaced and I will take none of that. I've been rubbing up against the human's legs all day and even letting the littlest sister hold me without wagging my tail. I won't purr though. How much do they want from one cat? Anyway, I heard mommey saying to big mommy that I "must understand us 'cause he's being really good. Aren't you Ziggums?"

They don't get it.
KEEP ME! NO PUPPY, PLEASE!
I don't want a big, slobbery, hyper-active, tail-chasing, wolf-descended, jumps-too-high puppy. The humans may; but I don't. Why doesn't my oppinion matter anymore?

New Pictures and Ziggy's Catster Cat of the MONTH (Diary- Entry #21)

I got new pictures! Now you can all see how handsome I am! Impressive, yes? *looks up* NO WAY! She put up the picture of me yawning?!?! Mucho embarassing...

But I'm still handsome.

And as for the Ziggy's Catster Cat of the Week, it's becoming the Catster Cat of the Month, isn't it? Purrhaps that's what we'll change it to. Ziggy's Catster Cat of the Month. And they are... Riley, Nike, and Reebok! That's right! The three muskiteers. It's our first award that went to three cats at once! Congrats guys!

My First Rosette! (Diary Entry #19)

Oh my goshness!! I've gotten my first rosette. Thank you Milo! It seems hardly fair that I have recieved a rosette just for stating the obvious. That you're one cool cat! Meanwhile I think a pawshake will suffice in my saying thank you. When the human signs up for CatsterPlus you'll recieve a rosette from me. The human is lazy, so still no rosettes for me to hand out... Grr. Oh well.
