Arrival Story:
Angel is the granddaughter of our former cat Mikmik who lived to be 10 years old. Tiger (named after Tiger Woods and not because she was striped) was her mother.

Bio:
She was named Angel because she was born during the time that my family was experiencing a horrid incident from which we recovered. Somehow, she represented the guardian angels that I believed guided us during those turbulent times. We used to have around 10 cats. One by one they disappeared until only Tiger was left. When she gave birth to Angel, my mom decided to put Angel on a leash so that she would not venture out into streets lest she be picked up or be run over by a car. That is why she developed the habit of clambering over anyone who would visit our home. Eventually, my mom got rid of that leash. Angel also survived a difficult first pregnancy. The vet had to open her up and get the kittens which died inside of her.
