Arrival Story:
My friend wanted to go to the OSPCA to look for a puppy (her Newfie passed away recently). Courtney, Tony (her boyfriend), Adam (my boyfriend) and I went this Sunday. There were five large cages with many kittens...Adam and I had been discussing "gee, what is Penny going to do when she's all by herself while the boys get neutered?" and "well, if we hypothetically got another kitten, what would we call her?". There were too lovely kittens in a group of five. A family of four was working on adopting two of them (hehe...I told them how great it was to have more than one...). One of them was very timid, but a little tabby and a little torbie looked very friendly and playful. We took them into a room to see what they were like and within five minutes knew that the little torbie was our new addition, M.J. (named after Mary Jane in Spiderman!). She was very brave and friendly, and was not deterred by the very large tabby on the other side of the glass or the six month old beagle that came by to sniff their cage. It's crazy, and our friends were laughing at us while we left...but we know that it won't take long for our little M.J. to win over her new brothers and sister!!
