Arrival Story:
Scraps is the unplanned offspring of my other two cats. We thought we had a bit more time to get them fixed- we were wrong.

Bio:
Story 1. He was from a litter of four. We'd put an ad in the paper to find new homes for the kittens. My husband was emphatic that we were not keeping any of the kittens. The three others found homes right away. I realized that no one was interested in taking Mr. Anti-Social home, so I decided we were going to keep him. At first my husband said no, we would take him to the shelter. I told him he had to be the one to do it. After some thought, he said we could keep him only if we named him either Leftovers, Reject or Scraps (I wanted to call him Morris- I know, real original). He quickly became Scraps. Story 2. He loves to fetch drinking straws. I discovered this by accident one evening. He had dumped my drink over for about the 9th time trying to play with the straw. I took the straw out and tossed it across the floor. And wouldn't you know he went after the straw, played with it for a bit, then brought it back to me.
