Arrival Story:
I was a the flea market and this crazy lady was teying to sell a bunch of cats and dogs- they were all malnourished and had terrible worms. So I yelled at the lady, told her I was taking the cat that was in the worst shape and told her she couldn't to a damn thing about it. So I took it, called the humaine society, they came out took the rest of the animals, saved the ones that could be saved and the lady ended up having over 45 animals in that condition and much worse. SHe was breeding dogs with wolves and then inbreeding them. She was charged on 40 counts of animal cruealty, had $3000 in fines and is now never aloud to own another animal again.

Bio:
She got her name, The Cheat, because she cheated death. When I brought her home ( we were up in north florida visiting an aunt) to my vet where I work, my coworkers couldn't believe the story, or the look of the cheat. The Cheat ended up having whip worms and round worms. An upper respatory infection, Over active tear glands, ring worms and weighed 2.5 pounds at 6 months old.. Now if you know anything about kittens, once they get about 4 weeks old they start to grow at about a half pound per week until they are about 4 months old. So knowing that, my kitty should have been about 6 or 7 pounds. Now my Stinky Little Cat is livin' the great life, despite everything she has been through, she is the most affectionate cat I have ever met. She loves to be around people, she loves any type of attention she can get. And went from the 2.5 pounds that she was to 5 pounds in a few weeks, now she is a healthy 9 pound kitty at a year and a month old.
