Arrival Story:
I already had Chenal and she had been with me for 4 years and I knew that she wasn't fond of other animals but for some reason I agreed to just see Emma, a friend of mine had found her in the parking lot of the building she works at by herself, she was tiny, I told my friend to bring her in so I could look at her and that I would try to find her a home. I ended up taking her home and letting her hang out on my screened in porch for a few nights and let Chenal come around a little at a time, they HATED each other, but only 2 weeks later they were grooming each other and sleeping cuddled up next to each other.

Bio:
Emma is simply the destructive one, she and Chenal enjoy each other a ton but Emma is always the one getting into trouble. She will play with you for hours if you let her. She is very independent during the day when I am up and moving around or watching tv on the couch.....she doesn't get up in my lap or anything, but the minute I get in bed she jumps up and makes this little sound as to say "I'm Here" and then noses her way under the covers until she gets comfortable right up against me.

Why NOT to drink from the toilet

September 2nd 2005 11:26 am   [link to this entry]

Well, today started like a normal day, woke up and followed mom around while she got ready for work, went and woke my sister up and got the day started. Mom went to work so me and Chennie hung out like we always do around the house, playing and watching the tv that mom leaves on for us. Well, this afternoon I decided that I wanted to play in the bathroom and the bath tub and stuff. After I was done I needed some water because I had worked up a good cat sweat so I decided to lean in as usual and get a drink out of the toilet. Well, I guess my balance wasn't that good because I fell right in head first. OH MY GOSH!!!! It freaked me out too when I touched the water so the more I tried to spastically get out of this bowl of water, the worse it was to actually do. Finally I calmed down enough to climb out but by that time the mess had been made. Mom walked in and found me drenched in water from my head down half of my body and water everywhere around the toilet. It was NOT one of my better moments. Haven't decided if I will try to drink from the toilet again but probably not for a while.
