When Mom was looking under the big bed today to see if Sofie was under there to get her paws bathed, she saw me instead. She said it looked like icicles under there because the box spring was shredded.

Don't look at me! I'm not the only one that sleeps under there and I don't do stuff like that because I am a good boy!

I know who's been doing it but I'm not a tattletale.

Walking Beehive!

My eyes got real big this morning when I saw a walking beehive in the master bedroom. It stood in front of me and was talking to me so I ran out of fear!

Turns out it was Mom who just got out of the shower and had her hair wrapped up in a towel. She had to remove the towel in order to prove to me that it was just her.

What a buzz that was. Scary.

Blood, Sweat, and no Tears

I was the only one who didn't get their nails trimmed this past week because I just knew that Mom looked different every time she came towards me with those clippers, so I would go the other way.

She finally got me tonight and sat on the floor with me on her lap. Just as she was getting ready to make that first cut, one of the Litter-Robots started going through it's cleaning cycle and startled me, so I started squirming and kicking until I scratched Mom's arm and it started bleeding.

Bad choice of rooms, but do you think she stopped? Nope! Instead, she held me a little harder, apologized for the scare, and calmed me down. It worked, and I got my manicure and pedicure.

I survived, and so did Mom!

I Nailed Him!

Today I won a wrestling match with Reebok. We're each other's favorite wrestling buddies and like to make each other squeal like girls. I'm the only one that can nail him, and I did!

It all started when we were doing the huddle over a bug crawling on the floor. Reebok kept talking to it and wouldn't stop. I couldn't stand it anymore so I thought it was the perfect time to leap on top of him for some fun.

I finally let him get up and he asked me if I was hungry. I was, so he went and told Dad and then we all got an afternoon snack.

We're both heavy, and we're brothers!

Today is Mine and Reebok's 4th Catster Anniversary!

Today marks four years that Reebok and I have been on Catster!

You know how we know? Because VIOLET and GLEEK told us!

Reeb and I rubbed our eyes and looked at our pages. Yep, we now have 4 candles on our cakes!

Violet and Gleek remember everything. They also remind us of ourselves because they look alike except one of them is narrower and the other one is wider.

We'll all try to remember our own Catster anniversaries from now on because we just made Mom write them all down on the calendar.

Thanks, Violet and Gleek! MOL

Asked Out on a Date!

A very cute and young girl kitty sent me a pawmail and told me I was handsome! She also wanted to know if I wanted to go on a picnic and get to know each other. I thought that sounded like fun!

So, I went and asked Mom and she said no, so I had to tell the cute kitty girl I couldn't go.

Bummer. I was just thinking about the sandwiches we could have eaten and the ants we could've played with.

A Great Week

Thanks to my friends for making my birthday week fun and leaving me good wishes!

It's been cool being half of Calvin's Pals of the Week. I think I'm going to laff and laff more with my laffer now. It'll probably cause me to laff up more of those hairballs that I do, but I hear it's good for the soul.

I'm ready for Spring, even if it's not officially here for a few weeks!

Laffin and laffin,

We're Calvin's Pals of the Week!

Reebok and I are CALVIN's Pals of the Week!

Mom made us new pages today and took pictures of Reebok and I wearing a couple of the bandanas that she made. She was looking around for maybe something to hang off the points at the bottoms of them but decided a toy mouse wasn't gonna cut it!

I usually don't run away from Mom when she approaches but when I saw that "I've got something for you to wear" look in her eyes, I decided to give her a little exercise. Once I realized what I had to wear it was no big deal.

My friend LILLY was right when she noted that one of the differences between Reebok and I is that I have two white arms vs. Reebok, who wears stripes on his right arm.

Thanks, Calvin, for making us your Pals of the Week!

We have three of those extra-wide Kitty Hoots beds. Two of them are side by side. Reebok and I are usually found on the ones that are side by side, not next to each other, but in one of them! It doesn't matter if we flatten it out, I just like to squeeze next to Reebok. Even Melody has shared a Kitty Hoots bed with Reebok.

Must be something about that big dude we love.

A Raccoon named Kitty!

Stray or lost kitties occasionally appear where Mom works, and there are a bunch of cat-lovers who try to trap them and get them taken care of whenever possible.

While Mom was leaving her office and walking to her car the other day, it was already dark outside and she saw a kitty under some dim lighting whose face looked like mine. She walked a little closer and called out to the kitty. You know, like "hi kitty!" The kitty looked at her for a moment and then started running away.

That's when Mom realized the kitty was a raccoon! I look like a raccoon?

Mom needs to get her eyes checked.
