A good day by Christopher

Today I won diary entry of the day! At least I think I did because I was sent gifts and congratulations messages!

I am not as smart as Einstein and feel insecure a lot.
I like to wear my tie because when mommy put it on me for my birthday last year, I could tell I looked handsome!

I feel happy when I am admired for being cute! I am very simple and just love being a good kitty.

I am not mischievous like Einstein or a lot of cats I hear about. I don't know how to be?

I only know how to be me, Christopher. My nickname is Fernie instead of Chris because I don't act like a Chris. I am not cool like a Chris. I am more like a Fernie, which rhymes with Ernie.

If I were a human boy, I'd get straight A's and play with everyone.
I would wear glasses and carry those things with your pens in them[I don't know what they are called?].

Einstein would get in trouble and throw spitballs at the teacher.
I gave Einstein lots of kisses tonight because I could tell he felt left out. He was jealous of my award.

Most important is love and I love my brother and best friend Einstein.
He loves me too and he doesn't like to ever be alone. I think he acts tougher then he is.

Maybe caz he is smaller and was feral?

Oh well, I don't know how to analyze like he does. I don't even understand what the word means?

My name is Christopher and I am going to see if I can have my hair brushed before Mommy falls asleep.

Tips from Christopher: How to cope with kitty change.

As a feline, we don't like change and enjoy the security of our routines.
Yet,there are times when our parents have them and we may not understand why?

I want to share my tips on how to survive!

1. Having a good support system: parents to tell you, everything will be alright.
2. Sharing your fears with a fellow feline companion: so you don't feel alone.
3. Having a good hiding place: to feel safe when strangers are around.
4. Eat a little and stay hydrated, even when you don't want to: we have to keep our strength up.
5. Meow as loudly and as much as you want: it's good to express your feelings.
6. Pick at least one favorite comfort item and keep it with you: I had my red fluffy ball.
7. Trust your guardian that the scary time will pass: They will always protect you.
8. When all else fails, GO TO SLEEP: when you wake up from your catnap, it will be over.

I hope this helps my feline friends.

Thanks for reading my tips!
