Arrival Story:
Last christmas she would just appear once in a while, always very late at night wanting food. She was very shy and very skittish. Then her visits started getting more regular, and earlier in the evening. I started feeding her every night and she'd tolerate a tiny bit of cuddling, but then get kind of crazy and wild and would attack me. Slowly but surely she grew to trust me and she started showing up in the morning as well :) Now she spends all her time nearby, mostly on the front porch .. she used to be so delicate and afraid and wild and now she is calm and loves cuddles and tummy rubs of all things! Amazing! Word from some of the kids in the neighborhood is that she was abandoned by a family nearby some time ago. I love her dearly and consider her part of my family now. :) UPDATE!!: We moved and Outdoor Kitty is now an indoor kitty - and she loooves it. She adjusted so well, better than i ever dreamed. I'm so happy that she has a quiet safe home now after so many years living on the street. :) :) :) :)
