Arrival Story:
After my fathers dog passed away, (Buddy, who I grew up with and then eventually moved out of my parents house) passed away in 2010. I was so upset and missed him so much from not living at home and seeing him as much as I used to. My husband saw my sadness and knew I always wanted a cat so he wanted to surprise me one day with a new addition into the family, however he didn't want to make the big decision alone. So he said he wanted to adopt us a cat. We went to our local humane society and saw this beautiful white, orange, and black kitten, so I went to pet him and he nipped me, so I was a little taken back. So as we were looking at the other kittens they had we saw this cute little gray thing curled up in a ball, so we decided to see what his personality was like. When we were in the viewing room with him, he was so adorable and pouncing over dust bunnies, and when I held him he was so kind and gentle. We both instantly fell in love with him, and the next day we came back to adopt him.
