Arrival Story:
We had her mother Tigger (God knows what became of her), who had two litters before her (died). This time, she had them in an cardboard oven that was given to me and my sister for Christmas, and we claimed Natalie and her sister Gloria before we moved back from Oregon to Illinois, amd my grandparents claimed their brother Blackie. Gloria, however, adopted another family while we were living with our aunt in Bolingbrook, and I have no idea what has become of her. Blackie ran away after my grandparents moved to Nebraksa, and we have no idea what happened to him either.
Bio:
We've had Natalie for her entire life. We nearly lost her a few times (My dad gave her away to someone and didn't even let us say good-bye, but they gave her back, then while we were staying in Bolingbrook, we had to do some fast talking to get her back). She recently had some trouble with her kidneys, but we treated her and she rebounded quickly. In fact, the vet said that she had never seen an animal treated at home that has improved so much within a week's time. Sadly, two years later, her kidneys started failing again, and there was nothing we could do other than keep her comfortable. Last September, she let us know that she was done fighting. She was put to sleep surrounded by me, my mom, and my sister. She was 17.
