Arrival Story:
Our beloved older cat went missing for 4 days and I was devistated. So, we went to "just look" at a place that had kittens. Well, he looked so much like Bussy, that I had to take him home. We took his crate mate, too!
Bio:
Our little Buster had health issues from day 1. He had "accidents" all the time, because he couldn't make it to his litter box. The vets just couldn't figure out what was wrong with the little guy. Then, we moved, and he seemed to be getting better. He always played and ate like crazy, but then he started losing weight pretty rapidly. His fur started looking pretty bad and separated. I started freaking out, and rushed him to the vet. They kept him over night for some tests. They then discovered that he had FIP. There's no cure and it's very contagious to the very old and very young. So, we couldn't even bring him back home, because we had one of each. I was at work when I heard the news. It was so horrible! I didn't even get to hold him, just one last time. I didn't even get to say "Goodbye". He died before he was even a year old, in 2002. I will never forget the joy he brought our household, and I know that he was a very happy boy while he was with us. I treasure the short time that he was with us and know that I gave him lots of love and care. Buster will always be loved and missed.
