Arrival Story:
We took Graciela and her cell-mate and who she was turned in with on an adopt-a-pet. Graciela's sibling was a SnowShoe Siamese. A girl came and wanted the Siamese, but refused, aside from all friendly begging that they really are a pair, to take Graciela, the beautiful black and white cat. She has Hyperthyroid, on lifetime Methimazole 2x/day. Due to circumstances beyond my control, literally, I had to adopt out Graciela. I had a choice and it was deathly hard, but I chose to keep the special needs cats who would never get adopted and Fuzz who's been with me for 15 years. The cats I adopted out all have loving homes now.

Bio:
Graciela was a turn-in with no information given as to why she and her sibling were turned in. She, like Autumn, prefer to be alone. Graciela is named "Makes Blankets Breathe" because she burrows under the blankets on the cat beds every day for her nap. She can lay near the other cats like Autumn can, but doesn't want to play at ALL! Just a little by herself every miraculous once in awhile. She was so devastated to lose her sibling at the adopt a pet that when she knew her sibling was leaving (she was watching intently), she just fell literally on her back into the litter box and stared, like she was in shock. I took her home that day and adopted her. She's a loaner, but will sleep next to the other cats as long as they don't bother her. She loves lovins from humans (or me, anyways). A real lap girl!
